What we're actually doing
In 2021, a small group of young Nigerians looked at their own communities and saw what nobody else was fixing: teenagers with no one to talk to, survivors with nowhere safe to go, young people with big ideas and no seat at the table. So they built the table. SGWI started small and stayed relentless. Today it’s a youth-led team running three live programmes, backed by real partners, already reaching over 2,000 people. This is still day one.
"SGWI gave our community the language and support to talk about protection and health without shame. They didn't just visit once, they stayed."
Community partner, Abule Egba
